Supporting Our Ophthalmic Community

Last week, Takagi Europe supported a workshop organised by Santen, for internal training purposes. The workshop and presentation were given by two inspiring principal optometrists, from the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. Our 700GL Slit Lamp Microscope has been yet again the star of the event, complemented by the innovative ST-50 Ophthalmic Table and CR-750S Motorised Chair.

The workshop focused on routine eye examinations, different types of eye diseases and dry eye symptoms. The aim of the workshop was to illustrate how optometrists and ophthalmologists deliver a routine eye examination.

Our medical instruments have been well received, as the participants were impressed with the elegant design qualities, ease of installation and full integration of the commands. The CR-750S Motorised Chair can be controlled from the table, while the patient remains seated.

This event is one good example of the advantages that come from being part of Citylabs 1.0, on the same campus as the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. We are among the first companies to partake in events organized by our ophthalmic community and it’s with great pleasure that we support our community in promoting eye health.
