For instance, our Slit Lamps are designed to offer a user-friendly experience for both the eye doctor and the patient. The patented design with no exposed cables gives the Takagi Slit Lamps an elegant and neat design and allows for an easy eye examination without unnecessary cables being in the way.

The result is a distraction-free eye examination, where the patient remains comfortable and the optometrist and ophthalmologist maximise their workflow.

The lower LED illumination system of the 4ZL Slit Lamp further highlights the structure of the eye and helps identify possible eye diseases. Thanks to the LED light performance peak at 450nm, structures of the eye are more visible, such as the corneal epithelium, lens, and vitreous humor. The blue reduction filter provides a softer light on the patient’s eye during the examination.

Furthermore, the lower part of the slit unit is integrated with a circular blue LED light, which lights up when the power is on. The blue light is known to induce calmness and helps reduce the patient’s uneasiness during the eye examination.

The 4ZL Slit Lamp Microscope is compatible with the Takagi TD-10 Imaging System and TD-2 Camera Adapter. TD-10 EyeCam is a 10.7-megapixel camera with ultra-high resolution and DICOM compatibility, for capturing high-quality images and videos, for follow-up patient examinations.
