This week we visited our long serving UK distributor Carleton Optical during their exhibition at Optrafair where they showcased a wide range of Takagi products, with Optrafair being the event of the year when it comes to the UK’s optical industry. Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, eye care professionals, and educators come together to present and explore the classic products and procedures as well as demonstrate new developments and technology for the optical market.
This year Optrafair celebrated its 40th anniversary attracting over 7,000 optical professionals who explored the event. There was also no shortage of entertainment, such as the Catwalk where models presented the latest fashion frames on stage and after all the excitement of the show visitors could also relax within the lounge area enjoying some refreshments before taking another walk around the exhibition area. It was another great experience visiting Optrafair 2018 and spending time with the team at Carleton Optical, we are looking forward to next years show which will be held from 30th of March – 1st of April 2019. http://www.optrafair.co.uk
