We would like to share with you the first glimpse of glaucoma surgery, which we have prepared for showcasing at ESCRS. This surgery was performed with the innovative OM-19 Operating Microscope, by Tatsushi Kaga M.D. PhD, at Chukyo Hospital in Japan.

For the 37th Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, we will be showcasing some of our most innovative products. Including a 3D visualisation of glaucoma surgery on a 55” surgical monitor from Sony. The outstanding image quality is obtained thanks to high-end optics made in Japan. Furthermore, the remarkable High Illumination LED and OM-19 colour balance maintain the colour’s real-life intensity and true to life colour vibrancy.

OM-19 is the first operating microscope in the world to offer independent light intensity adjustment for red reflex and coaxial illumination, each having a perfectly tuned colour temperature.
