Cataract Surgery in 3D – ESCRS Innovation
The date for ESCRS in Paris is quickly approaching and we are looking forward to meeting you at our booth to present our innovative products. We have prepared a new extract from a cataract video to share with you before the event. This video will be showcased on a 55” 3D medical monitor from Sony. The quality is remarkable, thanks to the balanced illumination and optical clarity of OM-19:
Real-life color balance √ Exceptionally bright LED illumination √ Powerful optical resolution √
The cataract surgery was performed with Takagi OM-19 Operating Microscope, at Chukyo Hospital in Japan. OM-19 is the first choice for surgeons and ophthalmologists because of its versatility and cutting-edge optics Made in Japan. In addition to this, OM-19 is the first microscope in the world with independent light intensity adjustment for red reflex and coaxial illumination. This feature is highly appreciated and in continuous demand as it gives full control to the surgeon to deliver the exact illumination required depending on the surgery conditions. In fact, in this video you can observe the smoothness of the surgery, while the lens is extracted during the phacoemulsification procedure.
Choose Takagi and let Japanese engineering exceed your expectations.
Visit our Booth B108 and experience new innovative ways of performing eye surgery through 3D visualisation.
See you in Paris from the 14thto the 17thof September.
