BEAVRS VR Training Course At Citylabs 2017

Last week’s BEAVRS (British and Eire Association of Vitreo Retinal Surgeons) VR training event hosted here at Citylabs, proudly sponsored by Takagi Europe, Carleton, DORC, Bausch & Lomb, and Stat One. The aim of BEAVRS is to promote high quality patient care by supporting and representing British and Irish Vitreo-Retinal Surgeons through education, research, audit and revalidation. The event at Citylabs was an introduction to scleral buckling procedures for Junior Consultant Surgeons from all parts of the United Kingdom, using microscope technology from Takagi and lecture s given by Mr Stephen Charles and Mr David Wong, one of the founders of the association in 1986.
