The uniquely integrated prisms narrow the stereo angle from 10 degrees to 4.1 degrees giving a 133% fundus view, a desired function for ophthalmologists frequently examining the retina. Narrowing the viewing angle to 4.1 degrees increases the overlapping of the left and right visual fields widening the range obtained by binocular vision. With the prisms in place it narrows the observation light path making it even suitable to view the fundus of patients with small pupils. A totally versatile slit lamp delivering sharp high-resolution images due to the specially treated and designed optics making it an all-round solution for anterior and posterior ophthalmologists.
Equipped with a 5-position rotating drum and a total magnification range from 6.3x to 37x including integrated blue filter, red free filter, blue correction filter, and yellow filter, the full range of slit lamp examinations can be performed using this versatile device. Also equipped with a diffuser, patient hand rests, and doctors breath shield as standard. Also fully compatible with optional TD-10 imaging system and patient management software completing the package.
A quick and easy in/out function engages the prisms instantly maintaining the overall work flow of the doctor. As the fundus function is a built-in optical unit there is no change in the overall working distance creating a more comfortable procedure for ophthalmologists with less fatigue.
